Protect. Control. Align.

Independent compliance advice, training and third-party screening for asset managers, commodity traders and corporations.

Who we serve

Faros Compliance supports organisations in Geneva, across Switzerland and internationally that operate in demanding regulatory environments. We work closely with three types of clients, each with its own risks and responsibilities.

Asset managers

Operating under a FINMA licence means meeting high expectations every day. We help portfolio managers and wealth managers maintain a robust, independent compliance function, prepare for their supervisory organisation’s reviews and audits, and apply anti-money laundering, know-your-client and conduct rules with confidence.

From policies and procedures to client screening and staff training, we help you meet your obligations while you focus on your clients.

Commodity traders

Trading across borders brings complex and fast-changing risks. We help trading companies navigate sanctions and trade restrictions, screen counterparties, vessels and partners, and build effective anti-bribery and due diligence controls throughout their supply chains.

Our aim is simple: to help you trade with confidence, knowing your exposure is understood and managed.

Corporations

We help companies build governance, ethics and anti-bribery frameworks, codes of conduct, speak-up procedures and third-party due diligence, tailored to their business and international footprint.

We work across every industry, with particular expertise in high-value goods such as luxury and precious metals, and in high-risk areas such as dual-use goods, oil and shipping.

Services

Governance and ethics

Governance frameworks, codes of conduct, ethics programmes and conflict-of-interest rules, with clear internal policies and procedures written for your organisation.

Advice, training and regulatory watch

Practical guidance on the rules that apply to you, ongoing briefings on regulatory and sanctions developments, and training that helps your teams recognise risk early.

Third-party screening

Anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), beneficial ownership, adverse media and reputational risk checks on clients, employees, suppliers, vendors and partners, before and during the relationship.

Sanctions

Programmes, controls and guidance that keep your business clear of sanctions and export restrictions, including dual-use goods. We also help you build or select automated and AI-assisted screening solutions.

Assessments and risk management

Independent compliance assessments and gap analysis with a prioritised plan, and a proportionate framework to monitor and reduce compliance risk.

Whistleblowing, speak-up and investigations

Confidential reporting channels that bring concerns to light early, and discreet, independent investigations from fact-finding to remediation.

One approach, tailored to you

Whatever your sector, our approach follows the same principle. We protect your business before risks arise, control exposure through ongoing assessments and monitoring, and align your practices with the rules whenever change or issues occur.
